ExitCare has been fortunate to attract and employ quality people throughout its organization. Below is some brief information about the Management Team.

Rick Redalen

Rick Redalen, MD, is the principal founder of ExitCare and the ExitCare Patient Education System, and serves as the CEO and CMO of ExitCare, LLC. For almost 30 years, Dr. Redalen has worked as an Emergency Department physician, a family practice doctor in his own and others’ practices, as a University educator, and as a principal in a business that ran 22 emergency departments in multiple states. He has performed hundreds of major surgeries, delivered hundreds of babies, and cared for countless patients around the country. He is the principal author of ExitCare content. Dr. Redalen’s vision has created and continues to help shape the product and the company.

Roger Jacobi

Roger Jacobi serves as the President of ExitCare, LLC, a role he has filled since 2000. His background, including an MBA from Michigan and his 20 years of work in the medical industry, and his experience with both large companies such as General Electric and smaller medical technology companies and startups, positioned him perfectly for his multiple roles at ExitCare, LLC. He also manages and works in the company’s sales and marketing efforts. His business acumen and vision has helped to position ExitCare as a leader in this field.

Richard Thompson

Rick Thompson serves as the Executive Vice President for Strategic Development. Mr. Thompson’s background in the medical software business is extensive. For many years, he served as the President and CEO of Clinical Reference Systems (CRS), and then served several years as General Manager and Vice President with the McKesson Corporation when they acquired CRS. His length and breadth of experience in this field, along with his sterling reputation with many other industry players, makes him the ideal person to work with strategic development issues and to develop the ExitCare Software Partners network.

Charles Krejci

Chuck Krejci, JD, is another founder of ExitCare, and serves as general counsel and COO. His early work with the other founders helped create the ExitCare product line, look and image, that has set the standard in this industry and which leading competitors still strive to emulate. Like all ExitCare people, he works in various roles in addition to his primary responsibilities, including technical development and support, content editing, training, and working with Software Partners.
